Three Year Olds
It is our goal for our three year old students to make a smooth transition to the school environment and develop a love of learning! This program partners with the parents to help students gain more confidence and independence each day. Students are introduced to letters, numbers, colors, and shapes through tactile and sensory experiences. The daily schedule is designed to provide ample opportunity for students to learn through exploratory centers and develop socially though free play activities. The curriculum is centered around seasonal themes and the study of God’s amazing world!
2-day (Tuesday and Thursday) 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
3-day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
5-day (Monday-Friday) 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
Our four and five year old program is designed to best prepare students for Kindergarten. The curriculum is designed with a whole language approach to learning. Students engage daily in literacy activities developed for the emergent reader. Through a variety of learning centers and activities, students are engaged in hands-on experiences with letters, writing skills, sensory and scientific exploration, and mathematical concepts. Students participate in cooperative learning, as well as small and large group encounters, to help students practice working with others and also focusing on a task for longer periods of time. Most importantly students are having fun while they are learning!
